Today we welcome Cauvery Madhavan at 12pm SLT. Cauvery came to Ireland from her native India over 30 years ago and her 3 exquisite novels deal with colonialism, cultural heritage and overcoming as well as reinterpreting tradition as a means of personal growth.

Her most recent book “The Tainted” is set against the Irish War of Independence of 1920 and we will dive deep into current issues of nationalism, immigration, religous and other variations of bigotry and we will also ask Cauvery why she wanted to appear as a pig farmer in Second Life.
