Telling it Like it’s Lived is a new monthly storytelling open mic, hosted by Yvonne Battle-Felton and Anne Charnock, where storytellers tell stories that move us.

Each month, three-five storytellers share five-minute (or less) stories loosely interpreting the month’s theme in this live virtual storytelling event. Stories might be fiction, creative nonfiction, or something in between.

Storytellers are writers, poets, readers, neighbors, friends, and anyone with a good, interesting, engaging, touching, funny, timely (or most things in between) story to tell.

All are welcome at the Second Life Book Club.

You don’t have to be a writer to be a storyteller. If you have an interesting story to tell, we’d love to hear it.

Open mic slots are allocated on a first contact, first confirmed basis. Please contact Grammercy for a five-minute open mic slot.

Readings will be live in Second Life and live-streamed/recorded on Facebook.
