Will Wiles has tackled vengeful ruiners of wooden floors, hotels that replicate themselves and neoliberal plumes floating around London. Now he is back on the show with epic stuff and we must ask ourselves: Is “The Last Blade Priest” literary fantasy? Can world builders communicate with stone only in books or also in Second Life? Are Elves just embittered drug addicts and is the separation of church and state a thing of the past in Will’s imagined empire as it seems to be in parts of the so-called physical realm?
